I was ‘hunting’ for beautiful Vinka flowers yesterday – it was not easy to find them as they love to hide their beauty from the sun, especially behind other plants. However I won our Hide and Seek game and found several Vinka hiding places!
One of the most popular ground cover plants, it can thrive in both cold and warm climates. It blooms prolifically, is easy to grow and tolerates poor soil and drought.

The lilac is in bloom now and smells utterly divine. I do love it so much! The lilac season is one of my favorite things about spring – the most fragrant time of the year.
Here are some photos of beautifully blooming purple and white lilacs I found while walking in parks, woodland and even in flower markets. It was very pleasant to be around lilac bushes because of their delicious scent – in fact I could smell them before I saw them!
