All Things Red

Did you know that red is one of the top two favorite colors of all people living on the Earth?

Another interesting fact. Red is the most popular color used on flags in the world. 148 flags (from 192) include red (over 77% of all flags).

I like red as well – often use in my paintings and drawings.

Butterfly

when I start painting of course I usually have some idea what to paint however as soon as I hold the brush in my hand it becomes detached, and starts painting things it wants itself. My mind completely turns off 🤪 When I am ‘sober’ again I feel extremely exhausted but happy, because I already see the result of my work.

This time result was such.

'Butterfly'. Painting by Shorena Ratiani. Tempera and acrylic on paper
‘Butterfly’ by Shorena Ratiani

I don’t really know what exactly is this creature. Butterfly? Moth? Maybe just plant? Although whatever it is, it represents connections with nature.
