Tops of trees invite you to fly!

When I was a child, I always had scraped knees at this time of year! Instead of looking down to see where I was treading I was looking up all time to see bare tree tops. I haven’t changed after all these years.

What can I do? I can’t take my eyes away from the tree tops. I love photographing them just before they put on spring clothes and cover their bare skeleton.

Sometimes I thing I can fly up and shake hands with the countless wooden fingers 😊

My photos of bare tree tops, taken on a rainy, dark and cloudy day (my favorite weather 😀😀)

Just a few more photos.

love is all around when violets are all around

Violets are one of Spring’s most loved flowers – few plants symbolize the renewal of nature as much as the violet.

Shorena Ratiani Photography

Violets have already started to pop up so I went for another photo walk to discover and photograph them.

More blue violets:

Even more violets!

It was lovely sunny morning and as you see I found lots of lovely blue violets.

Have a sunny day you too,

Shorena

Blossom Time

Some early Spring trees are blooming in Tbilisi and I’m so excited. I walk in the city like a shopaholic in a shopping mall, searching for the perfect Spring accessory – beautiful blossoms!

And I like all of them! Especially plum blossoms, which usually open well before the leaves, creating a cloud of white flowers against a backdrop of leafless branches.

After a warm February in Tbilisi, plum and apple trees have already reached full bloom.

I love them when they are at their brightest and best!

This is a tiny part of my tree blossom collection:

That’s all for today. In a couple of days I will post more blossom photos. I promise!

Have a great Spring day,

Shorena

Tiny Life is Bursting Out

I’m fascinated when spring starts winning over winter – when green leaves burst out of the ground and stretch up towards the sun.

Sometimes they emerge from very barren places and begin their struggle to survive and thrive. This little plant was my favorite!
